Creating Success with Diversity Initiatives: Building, Driving, & Sustaining Direction & Action

This workshop will build the capacity of diversity practitioners to assist schools in creating and sustaining successful diversity initiatives by:

  • Learning a simple and successful framework and formula for building effective “Strategy,”
  • Utilizing the formula to build strategies and actions related to their current individual schools, and
  • Getting critical “In the moment” feedback, coaching and support to insure success when they return.

This workshop is for diversity directors, practitioners and stakeholders.

Presenter
Dr. Barbara E. Riley, Ed.D., brings extensive expertise to large systems culture change, executive coaching and development, human capital planning and OD/Diversity interventions. Contributing over twenty-five years of consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies including Medic 911, Carolinas Health System, Wachovia Corporation, Corning Inc., Shell Oil, Kodak, SC Johnson Wax, and numerous not-for-profit and educational organizations, Dr. Riley brings a wisdom that grounds her coaching in both personal development and the real world of business success. Barbara believes we are all given enormous gifts, that when nurtured and developed, can be placed in service to transform the world.

Dr. Riley completed her doctorate at Boston University, M.S. at Smith College and received her BA in psychology from Hofstra University. She is certified in Parallel Thinking™ and The Leadership Circle 360™ Profile. Dr. Riley is a past faculty member of Boston University and a member of the NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science.

For reservations, please call the Hotel Indigo directly at 312-787-4980, ask for reservations and request the "Independent Schools Association" rate to receive discounted rooms.   • 10% discount for schools sending teams of two or more

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to ISACS by emailing programinfo@isacs.org 10 business days prior to the event to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received within 10 days of the event will not receive a refund. Registration may be transferred to another member from the same school. ISACS reserves the right to cancel the workshop for insufficient enrollment. In this case, participants will be notified and given a full refund.
