Perceptions about your school can influence your ability to attract students and teachers, raise money, and work in the community. This workshop, designed for communications, admissions, alumni relations, and development staff, will teach you how to tell your school’s story and reach more people.

You'll learn how to:
  • Gauge public opinion about your school and correct misperceptions,
  • Research audiences and target the right people to reach your goals,
  • Craft messages that resonate,
  • Harness the power of the media in good times and bad,
  • Use Web 2.0 technologies such as social networking sites, YouTube, and blogs to reach audiences and influence opinion,
  • Measure the success of your outreach initiatives, and
  • Facilitate strategic discussions and shape the future of your school.
