Are we maximizing the potential of our language programs and our language activities?  What do teachers and programs need in order to deliver research- and experience-based best practices of our profession to our learners? How does thematic planning enhance our effectiveness?  How can we make our activities cognitively engaging, culturally connected and communicatively purposeful?  This workshop will engage teachers with practical strategies focusing on principles of effective instruction.  Through demonstrations and questioning, this workshop will share practical ways to deepen activities and meaningfully engage the learner.

This workshop is for K-12 world language teachers.
