Registration is now closed for the ISACS Annual Conference. ISACS can provide you with a late/onsite registration form, which can be completed and returned to the ISACS office by Wednesday, October 26. The registration fee for members is now $170 for one-day attendance and $280 for two-day attendance. Please call the ISACS office at 312-750-1190 to request the form or if you have any questions.

Please note that as of 9/27, the Hilton Columbus Downtown has very few rooms available and the hotel may not meet your travel needs. Learn how relevancy impacts learning in math. Hear the research about relevancy and learn how student reflection and project-based, hands-on activities can maximize engagement and learning. Participants will hear examples of powerful math lessons and will have the opportunity to design a lesson for their own classrooms. Come ready to learn, share and design. This session is for middle school faculty.

T-84 Viewing of Most Likely to Succeed
In the film, Most Likely to Succeed, bestselling author and education expert Tony Wagner and Ted Dintersmith call for a complete overhaul of American schools. Take the opportunity to watch this acclaimed film in its entirely and discover what a new model of education can look like - a model that prepares students for an economy where human creativity and innovation are the most important traits. Hear directly from the students about a significantly different approach at High Tech High and follow students, teachers and parents as they rethink education and experience a new 21st century approach to teaching, learning and school. Due to the length of the film, this session will run until 4:30.
Internet at the Greater Columbus Convention Center
The GCCC provides complimentary Wi-Fi intended for light usage in the meeting rooms and the foyer area. Please note the GCCC complimentary Wi-Fi will not be available in the Battelle Grand Ballroom during the luncheon/keynote. We will provide the network and password information in your onsite conference packet. ISACS requests that you only log on to one device (i.e., cell phone or other portable device such as an iPad or other tablet). Please do not stream videos or download content. The complimentary Wi-Fi is best suited for checking email and using the conference App. You should also be able to use your 4G/LTE from your carrier in most areas of the GCCC.

Trustee Day - Thursday, November 3
ISACS will be hosting a day-long workshop designed specifically for trustees in ISACS schools on Thursday, November 3, from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm (with a special sessions for board chairs and heads of school from 8:15 am - 9;15 am) at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Trustees will have the opportunity to learn from two national experts - Pat Bassett and Jim Honan. For more information and to register, visit the Trustee Day website.

Air Travel
For air travel, access the Port Columbus International Airport. Southwest Airlines operates in/out of this airport.
In addition, you can also take a bus from the airport to/from downtown for $2.75 each way. The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has implemented a new dedicated line that provides service between downtown and Port Columbus International Airport seven-days-a-week, for more information, visit www.COTA.com/AirConnect
The COTA bus does need exact change. At the Convention Center attendees can per purchase a ticket with a credit card at the Experience Columbus Visitors Center located on the first level of the Convention Center by the food court.
Valet Parking at the Hilton Columbus Downtown
Overnight valet parking for ISACS attendees is $16/night for overnight parking for hotel guests (which will be billed directly to your hotel room bill) with in and out privileges. This is a 20% discount off the hotel’s regular overnight valet parking rate.
Valet Parking at the Hampton Inn and Suites
Overnight valet parking at the Hampton Inn and Suites is $15/night for hotel guests, which will be billed directly to your hotel room.
Valet Parking at the Crowne Plaza Columbus - Downtown
Overnight valet parking at the Crowne Plaza is $24/night and $17/night for IHG members, which will be billed directly to your hotel room.
Self-Parking at the Hilton Columbus Downtown
Overnight self-parking in the attached parking ramp is $14.40/night for hotel guests (which is a discounted rate for the ISACS group and will be billed directly to your hotel room bill) with in and out privileges. This is a 20% discount off the hotel’s regular overnight valet parking rate.

Nursing Mother’s Room
The Greater Columbus Convention Center has a dedicated nursing mother’s room. It is located in the connector between the Convention Center and the Hyatt, by the escalators to Battelle Grand North. The room is marked and has three seating areas inside with curtains for privacy. The room is on a first come first served.
Cancellation Policy
ISACS cannot offer refunds for the Annual Conference after Monday, October 17. Cancellations must be received in writing by Monday, October 17 to receive a 50% refund.
